About Us

Forward Management was founded in 2003 to manage investment properties for local investors in the Pittsburgh area. We currently manage more than 600 residential units in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood as well as apartment complexes in Brentwood and the city’s southern suburbs.

Two of our largest residential complexes in Brentwood are home to our full-time leasing, administrative, maintenance and on-site management offices. Our full-time staff consists of six employees, including a leasing manager and tenant relations coordinator to manage day-to-day operations, tenant satisfaction and company expansion. The staff also includes a full-time maintenance supervisor to oversee our 10 maintenance workers for quick, easy and effective repairs.


Our goal has always been to provide exceptional service to our tenants, which has lead to a high percentage of long-term residents. Our commitment to resident satisfaction not only includes great customer service on an ongoing basis, but also 24-hour on-call maintenance for emergencies that may arise at any time.


Moving forward, our plans for improvements and growth include both increasing large-scale marketing efforts with a stronger online presence as well as continuing many unit upgrades and renovations. We are currently renovating tenant common areas for improved aesthetics as well as upgrading fixtures in units and refinishing or replacing flooring when possible. These improvements are aimed at increasing prospective tenant traffic, current resident satisfaction as well as creating superior units for increased revenue stream in the coming years.

Our maintenance staff is committed to fixing your repairs as quickly as possible. We pride ourselves on the trustworthiness and reliability of their services to our tenants. They are a committed team and several of our crew members have been with us for many years.
